Hello everyone,
my name is Peter Felber, 65 years old, born and raised in Basel Switzerland and I’m a passionate photographer and traveler.
Already in my early years, I was allowed to go on occasional fishing trips to the Doubs with my father. Due to that my passion for fishing and my enthusiasm for nature was awakened early. Through ski tours in the Swiss mountains with my aunt, my wanderlust was additionally strengthened.
After graduating, I could finally start my long-awaited journey.
I went for more than a year on a road trip through the USA, Mexico and Canada, so I could collect my first travel experiences.
In the following years, due to my professional work as a dentist, I was unfortunately no longer able to take longer trips.
Nevertheless, I tried to make a trip to Alaska possible at least once a year. This country, finally drew me in a very special way in the spell and became over decades,
a second home for me. Bears, moose, whales, fishing and an almost untouched nature
–
what else could you ask for?
At the beginning, I made my first video recordings and photographs with an old single-lens reflex camera.
After a long development time, I could finally show my friends a slideshow of photos from my trip.
Meanwhile I take pictures with a modern digital camera and still traveling through various countries
of the world and I always capture my experiences and impressions with the camera.
